Random Notes for Writers- Characters are continually discovering things about themselves and others and the world, through thought and talking to others, and experiences; they make breakthroughs with each other and themselves. They have troubles; they don't ever just "talk" to each other.

-Make your climaxes intense, as intense as you can make them- spend time on your plot building the climax. Horror/fantasy climaxes better be really trippy/freaky [like my notes =|]. Romantic climaxes should be seriously emotional. Comedic climaxes should be jaw-droppingly over the top. Mystery/suspense climaxes should make your readers double-take.

Custom Built Art Computer, need adviceSo I've been looking to build a good custom desktop computer. Here's some of the things I'll need to be able to do without hiccup/lag.
Run Windows 7.
Run adobe creative suite CS5/CS4 without a hitch (so photoshop and flash shouldn't choke)
Use MAYA and Zbrush like a boss
Good/Great graphics card
lots of ram
Lots of harddrive space
NOT a raid drive system (bad experiences, I'd prefer solid state if I can get enough space)
Great sound
Render videos without taking 20 hours to do so (seriously my Minecraft Let's Plays have not been done cuz my laptop refuses to do anything with speed)
Good/great processing speed, above 3.0 ghz for sure. Multi-core would be best
Adobe RGB monitor (not vital, I can hold off on buying this until later)
Not sure what kind of chassis, but something that can handle a lot of heat. I don't intend to overclock, but I'd like the option.
Gaming power is wanted, but not primary concern
Video-rendering and ability to function amazingly with art programs is priority one
